Museum of African Art in Belgrade in collaboration with Color Media Communications organizes online conference “Contemporary Art of Africa in the Era of the Pandemic”. It will be streamed on May 25th in order to celebrate The Africa Day. The subject of the conference is dedicated to the question how the Covid-19 pandemic affected cultural institutions, the work of contemporary artists of African descent and those working on the African continent, as well as to the themes, processes, contents, forms and shapes in the field of contemporary art that this pandemic gas brought to the fore.

The aim of the online conference is to open questions concerning the impact of the pandemic on contemporary art, creative processes, new phenomena, art forms and contents in the work of artists of African descent and those who create on the African continent.
