Marija Aleksić winner of the KPZ Serbia Golden Badge
For the 42nd time, the Cultural and Educational Community of Serbia has awarded 50 prominent artists and cultural workers from Serbia and the diaspora for their long-running contribution to culture.
The prestigious award was given to Marija Aleksić, PhD, director of the Museum of African Art, for her long-standing contribution to the development of cultural activities, selfless and dedicated work, as well as spreading culture.
At the ceremony held at the National Theater in Belgrade, the awards were presented by Aleksandar Jovanović, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Ljubivoje Ršumović, Chairman of the Cultural and Educational Community of Serbia and Živorad Ajdačić, Secretary General of KPZ Serbia. Milovan Vitezović was President of the Jury.
