Organised by the Centre for Contemporary Art of Montenegro and based on the concept of curator and artist Natalija Vujošević, Montenegro is represented at the Venice Biennale with the exhibition “The Art of Holding Hands/as we break through the sedimentary cloud”. The exhibition includes the works of artists Dante Buu, Lidija Delić, Ivan Šuković, Darko Vučkovićć and Jelena Tomašević, as well as the Collection of Art of Non-Aligned Countries, with works by Zuzana Chalupová (Yugoslavia), René Portocarrero (Cuba), an unknown artist from Iraq, and a documentary on the work of the artist Bernard Matemera (Zimbabwe).

The exhibition is conceived as an imaginative meeting-space for several generations of artists that stem from very different historical and social contexts, a place of artistic dialogue and interweaving of diverse artistic approaches which, through the prism of intimacy and imagination, delve into themes of the relationships between man and space, man and technology, as well as the future of society.

The exhibition will be featured in a talk with Lidija Delić, Ivan Šuković and Natalija Vujošević.
