Institut Afriška
The African Institute connects Africans living in Slovenia and all who are interested in the culture, history and future of Africa. Through thematic evenings, lectures, presentations and workshops, this center spreads knowledge about Africa and helps disseminate information about its cultures, promote positive awareness and contributions to its development. The African Institute was started in 2017 by Daniel Nzotam, driven by the desire to influence changes among the African community in Slovenia. The most important program is the African Festival, and Nzotam also runs the African Cultural Center in Ljubljana, which offers economic, bureaucratic, legal and personal support and advice to African citizens in Slovenia.
